Madhumitha Venkataraman has been appointed as Director and Regional Equality Lead for South Asia at Salesforce, where she will lead the organisationโs South Asia Equality strategy, with a focus on seamlessly integrating AI and equality into the workplace culture. In this role, she will support an employee base of approximately 18,000 across South Asia.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Madhumitha served as Founder, Diversity & Inclusion Strategist and Certified Counsellor at Diversity Dialogues, where she worked with over 100 corporates, NGOs, and educational institutions on diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and mental health initiatives.
Her leadership experience also includes serving as Inclusion Strategy Lead, India at Netflix, Head โ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, and Head of HR for South & Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Snapdeal. At Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, she helped institutionalise the D&I charter and introduced initiatives spanning gender equality, disability inclusion, parenting, and employee wellbeing.
Earlier in her career, Madhumitha held HR leadership and consulting roles with GE India, and Mercer, building extensive expertise across HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, employee experience, and inclusion. Her appointment at Salesforce brings together years of experience in people strategy, diversity, equity and inclusion, and organisational transformation.
