Vinod T. Varghese Appointed as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Healthium Medtech

Vinod T. Varghese has been appointed as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Healthium Medtech, bringing with him over 27 years of rich and diverse experience in human resources across industries such as FMCG, financial services, consulting, IT & ITeS, industrial products, and EPC. In his new capacity, Vinod will lead the organization’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, leadership development, cultural transformation, and strategic people initiatives to drive Healthium’s growth ambitions in the medtech sector.

Prior to joining Healthium Medtech, Vinod served as Human Resources Director for Alstom Transport India, where he oversaw HR operations across five legal entities, including Alstom Transport India Limited, Alstom Systems India Pvt. Ltd., and Bombardier Transportation India Pvt. Ltd. As a Whole-time Director on the Board of Alstom Transport India Limited, he played a pivotal role in post-merger integration, leadership alignment, and workforce planning to support business expansion in India.

Vinod’s career journey reflects a proven track record of building and transforming HR functions at leading organizations. His earlier leadership roles include Asia Talent Development Manager at 3M, Associate Director – Human Resources at Colt Technology Services, and Associate Director – HR at Ernst & Young, where he led national talent acquisition, regional HR operations, and business partnering for key service lines. He also served as Associate Vice President – Human Resources at HSBC Ltd., where he strengthened talent acquisition, engagement, and employee relations frameworks.

Beginning his career with Shaw Wallace & Company Ltd., Vinod gained foundational expertise in industrial relations, legal compliance, and plant personnel management before transitioning into corporate HR leadership. Over the years, he has partnered with senior executives across geographies, managing large-scale change initiatives, talent development programs, and HR operations that align closely with organizational vision and market demands. His depth of experience in diverse sectors positions him to drive Healthium Medtech’s people agenda with strategic foresight and operational excellence.
