Shyamsundar Lahane has been promoted to Talent Acquisition Leader at Ecolab. In his expanded role, he will lead the Talent Acquisition function across Ecolab Food & Safety, Nalco Water, Purolite, and Ovivo, driving recruitment strategy, workforce planning, stakeholder engagement, employer branding, and talent initiatives aligned with the organization’s long-term business objectives.
With more than 14 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources, Shyamsundar has built a strong track record of partnering with business leaders to deliver strategic hiring outcomes across multiple industries. His expertise spans strategic recruitment, diversity and inclusion, recruitment operations, employer branding, talent advisory, workforce planning, and stakeholder management. Throughout his career, he has successfully aligned talent acquisition strategies with business goals while improving hiring efficiency, candidate experience, and organizational capability.
Prior to this promotion, Shyamsundar served as Lead Talent Acquisition Advisor at Ecolab, where he played a key role in strengthening recruitment operations, driving diversity hiring initiatives, optimizing sourcing strategies, and delivering significant cost efficiencies through direct hiring and referral programs. He also held the role of Country HR Partner at Ecolab, further expanding his experience across talent and people-related initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Shyamsundar served as Corporate Recruiting at Cummins India, Associate Manager – Talent Acquisition at Marquardt India Pvt. Ltd., Recruitment Lead at Tata Motors, Talent Acquisition Specialist – UK & US at Capgemini, and TPO at Mphasis.
