Kiran Nair Appointed as Chief Digital Officer at Adani Renewables

Mr. Kiran Nair has been elevated to the role of Chief Digital Officer at Adani Renewables, after successfully leading Technology for the past four years. With nearly two decades of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, he brings a strong vision for driving digital transformation by integrating AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and IoT to create enterprise-level growth ecosystems. In his new role, he aims to digitally transform the entire energy value chain, including the largest single-location renewable energy plant in the world — Khavda.

Prior to his leadership at Adani Green Energy Ltd, Mr. Kiran held senior positions at Mytrah Energy, where he played a critical role in scaling the company from zero to 1800 MW, contributing significantly to its growth as India’s first independent power producer (IPP). His journey at Mytrah Energy saw him advance from Head of Engineering to Director – O&M & Digital, showcasing his expertise in both operational excellence and digital innovation.

Mr. Kiran’s professional career also includes international stints with DNV GL and Vestas, where he gained valuable exposure working across India, Denmark, and the UK. These experiences have shaped his global outlook and strengthened his ability to bridge advanced technologies with practical applications in the renewable energy sector.

In his new capacity at Adani Renewables, Mr. Kiran envisions fostering a human-centric and ethically sound technology culture that is operationally bold. His leadership will be instrumental in driving Adani’s digital-first approach to renewable energy, creating innovative solutions that not only enhance operational efficiency but also pave the way for a sustainable energy future.
