His vast exposure to retail banking, SME finance, IT, human resources, and corporate communication has equipped him with the strategic vision to navigate complex challenges and build future-ready institutions.

A strong advocate of technology-driven growth, Baror emphasizes the importance of adopting state-of-the-art solutions to enhance customer convenience while ensuring security and resilience in banking operations. He is equally committed to human resource development, focusing on improving working conditions for RRB employees and building a motivated workforce that can thrive in rural and semi-urban environments. His vision also aligns with the national mission of Viksit Bharat 2047, where rural development will play a defining role in India’s growth journey.

With his appointment, SBI reinforces its commitment to advancing financial inclusion and rural banking under seasoned leadership. Prakash Chandra Baror’s proven track record of driving growth, empowering teams, and fostering innovation positions him well to guide SBI’s Regional Rural Banks towards new milestones of success.
