Sumit Sahni has joined Paramount Products Pvt Ltd as the new Chief Operating Officer, bringing with him over three decades of extensive experience in operations management across the leather and textile industries. In his new role, Sumit is expected to drive operational excellence, implement process standardization, and strengthen the company’s overall efficiency and growth.
Sumit began his illustrious career in 1995 and has since held several key leadership positions. Prior to joining Paramount Products, he served as Vice President of Operations at Bhartiya International Limited, where he successfully managed large-scale operations and contributed to strategic business expansion. He also held critical roles at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, including Country Head for Bangladesh and Vice President Operations, overseeing operations, team management, and international business development with great impact.
Sumit’s long tenure at Orient Fashion Exports India Pvt Ltd saw him progress from Factory Manager to Head of Operations, and later lead Profit Center and International Business Development initiatives. He has extensive expertise in handling both leather and textile manufacturing, with a strong focus on process standardization, ISO implementation, WIP reduction, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and RFID technology integration.
Known for his commitment to knowledge sharing and operational benchmarking, Sumit has consistently delivered measurable results by aligning teams with organizational objectives and optimizing manufacturing processes while ensuring quality and efficiency.
