Rahul Karandikar steps into his new role as Vice President – Post Sales at Intellect Design Arena Ltd, bringing with him more than two decades of experience across corporate lending, MSME credit, product innovation, and commercial bureau operations. A first-attempt Chartered Accountant, Rahul has built a career distinguished by deep domain expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong techno-functional approach to solving complex financial ecosystem challenges.
Rahul’s journey spans leading institutions such as IL&FS Financial Services, Bajaj Finance, NeoGrowth Credit, and TransUnion CIBIL. Across these roles, he has contributed significantly to corporate lending operations, loan syndication, structured finance, and P&L ownership for business units. His experience also includes developing early warning systems, enhancing loan portfolio performance, and leveraging bureau and alternative data to strengthen risk frameworks.
A notable part of Rahul’s career has been his work in product innovation and new product development, especially during his tenure at NeoGrowth Credit and TransUnion CIBIL. He has been instrumental in building next-generation LOS/LMS platforms, designing bureau solutions, and enabling smoother credit lifecycle management for lenders. His understanding of both technology and credit operations positions him uniquely to drive transformation in post-sales processes at Intellect.
Following a purposeful career break for personal goal pursuit, Rahul now returns to the financial technology landscape with renewed focus and strategic clarity.
