Faiz Abidi appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Jaypee Infratech Ltd

Faiz Abidi has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Jaypee Infratech Limited, where he will lead strategic financial management for large-scale, multi-million square foot real estate developments in Noida, along with the 165 km access-controlled Yamuna Expressway. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening financial strategy, governance, and operational oversight across some of the Group’s most complex and capital-intensive infrastructure and real estate projects.

With over two decades of experience, Faiz’s professional journey reflects consistent, merit-based growth within the Jaypee Group. He has progressed through key finance leadership roles at Jaypee Infratech Limited, Jaypee Sports International Limited, and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd., where he has driven financial planning and analysis, budgeting, taxation, audit excellence, risk mitigation, and robust corporate governance across large and diversified portfolios.

Prior to his long-standing association with the Jaypee Group, Faiz built a strong and diverse financial leadership foundation with organizations such as JK Cement, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Birla Global Asset Finance Co. Ltd. During this phase, he managed critical mandates spanning project finance, greenfield and brownfield plant setups, banking relationships, asset finance, business banking, cross-functional coordination, and revenue management.

Academically, Faiz holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Management (Finance) and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lucknow University. He is currently enhancing his strategic finance capabilities through the Chief Finance Officer program at IIM Kolkata, further equipping himself with forward-looking perspectives to address evolving industry challenges.
