Akanksha Kanojia has taken on a new leadership role as Head – Talent, Culture & DEI at Airtel, based in Gurugram. This appointment reflects Airtel’s continued emphasis on building a future-ready organization rooted in strong culture, inclusive leadership, and scalable talent practices as it navigates growth and transformation across its businesses.
Airtel veteran with over 13 years at the organization, Akanksha brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong track record across diverse HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head HR – DTH and Customer Experience, where she partnered closely with business leaders to drive workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational excellence in customer-facing functions.
Her earlier roles at Airtel include HR Head – Organization Productivity & Transformation, Circle HR Head, and HR Business Partner for Sales & Distribution, giving her extensive exposure to large-scale people transformations, frontline workforce management, and business-aligned HR strategy. Across these roles, she has played a key role in driving productivity, change management, leadership capability building, and people transformation initiatives at scale.
In her new role, Akanksha will lead Airtel’s Talent, Culture, and DEI agenda, focusing on strengthening leadership pipelines, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture, and embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into the organization’s growth strategy. Her appointment underscores Airtel’s commitment to placing people and culture at the center of its long-term success.
