Dr. Irphan Ali has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida, India, marking a significant step in the institute’s journey toward technology-driven academic excellence and digital transformation. In his new role, he will spearhead strategic initiatives focused on innovation, digital learning ecosystems, and technology-enabled institutional operations.
A strategic academic leader and EdTech innovator, Dr Irphan Ali holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With over 21 years of global experience spanning India, Canada, and the United States, he brings deep expertise in higher education leadership, academic administration, digital transformation, and EdTech product development.
Prior to joining NIET, Dr Irphan Ali served as Global Head of Academics at Innivec Ventures Inc., Canada, where he played a pivotal role in developing next-generation EdTech products, designing innovative academic frameworks, and strengthening global academic partnerships. His work in AI integration in education, flipped and blended learning models, and regulatory alignment significantly enhanced academic credibility, operational efficiency, and international recognition for partner institutions.
Earlier, as Chief Learning Officer at Florida Coastal University, USA, he led the university’s learning strategy and academic innovation agenda. His contributions included building a robust digital academic ecosystem, advancing online university governance, modernizing curricula, and supporting program accreditation planning in alignment with global best practices and emerging industry demands.
At NIET, Dr Irphan Ali is expected to focus on advancing learner-centric education models, integrating AI-driven learning solutions, and building scalable, inclusive, and globally connected academic frameworks. His appointment underscores NIET’s commitment to future-ready education, research-led innovation, and collaborative leadership in higher education.
