Kumar Prashant has joined Avaada Electro as Head of Marketing, where he will spearhead brand building and pan-India retail expansion for the organisation’s solar business. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening brand credibility, enabling channel-led growth, deepening relationships with installers and EPC partners, and supporting Avaada Electro’s vision of making clean energy more accessible and scalable across Indian households and businesses.
With extensive experience as a Marketing and Brand Transformation leader, Kumar Prashant brings a strong cross-sector perspective spanning Consumer Electricals, Steel, and Automotive industries. His career has been marked by leading high-impact brand initiatives and driving growth in complex, competitive markets through strategic marketing and channel engagement.
Prior to joining Avaada Electro, Kumar Prashant played a pivotal role at Polycab India, where he led the master brand refresh during a phase of rapid expansion of the company’s consumer-facing portfolio. His work contributed to strengthening brand positioning and aligning marketing strategy with evolving consumer expectations in the electricals segment.
Earlier, at JSW Steel, he was instrumental in setting up the award-winning JSW Privilege Club loyalty programme, aimed at enhancing channel engagement and strengthening partner relationships. His efforts helped build a robust engagement platform that supported long-term channel loyalty and growth.
Kumar Prashant also brings deep automotive sector experience, having worked with leading brands such as Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, and Renault India. Across these roles, he gained hands-on exposure to consumer marketing, large-scale product launches, and distribution-driven growth models. This diverse experience positions him well to lead Avaada Electro’s marketing mandate as the company continues to scale its renewable energy footprint across India.
