Sudhanshu Talwar has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Sales & Network at VinFast India Pvt. Ltd., as the electric vehicle manufacturer builds out its sales and distribution footprint in the Indian market. He brings over two decades of professional experience primarily within the automobile domain, with exposure across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and small commercial vehicles, spanning ICE and EV platforms, as well as diverse geographies and business models.
In his role at VinFast India, Sudhanshu Talwar is responsible for designing, building, and scaling the company’s sales architecture and nationwide network. His mandate includes go-to-market execution, channel development, and network expansion, supporting VinFast’s plans for sustained growth in a competitive and rapidly evolving EV ecosystem.
Over the course of his career, Sudhanshu Talwar has held leadership roles spanning sales, distribution, OEM engagement, and market execution. His experience includes working with established automotive OEMs such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors Ltd., Piaggio Vehicles, and Hero Honda Motors Ltd., where he managed large regional and zonal operations and contributed to scaling dealer and distribution networks.
He has also worked in the electric mobility and automotive technology space through leadership roles at Altigreen Propulsion Labs and Intangles Lab Pvt. Ltd., engaging closely with OEMs and enterprise stakeholders.
This appointment signals VinFast India’s transition from market-entry planning to execution-led scale-up, with a focused emphasis on building a robust national network, disciplined go-to-market rollout, and operational readiness for EV adoption in India.
