Dhawal Mehta has joined Bajaj Housing Finance as Senior Business Head – Affordable, marking a strategic leadership addition as the company continues to scale its affordable housing finance vertical across India. In this role, Dhawal Mehta will focus on driving business growth, strengthening sales and distribution networks, and expanding Bajaj Housing Finance’s reach in key affordable housing markets.

With a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry, Dhawal Mehta has been working closely in the affordable housing segment since 2012, bringing more than a decade of hands-on experience across sales leadership, business development, cross-selling, MIS, and business strategy. His expertise in building regional and zonal frameworks aligns well with Bajaj Housing Finance’s long-term growth roadmap.

Prior to joining Bajaj Housing Finance, Dhawal Mehta served as National Business Head at ICICI Home Finance, where he led key business strategies for home finance and affordable housing, driving significant growth and operational efficiency. He was also Zonal Sales Head at IIFL Home Loans, where he played a key role in scaling performance across multiple regions. Additionally, he has held leadership positions including Regional Sales Manager at Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd and Area Sales Manager, contributing to business expansion and market penetration in the affordable and home loan segments.

Earlier in his career, Dhawal Mehta worked with prominent financial institutions such as Barclays Finance as Manager, Citi as Service Quality Manager, and NIIT Limited, gaining strong exposure to banking operations, customer experience, and branch management.

Dhawal Mehta holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Marketing Management from Chetana’s College, Bandra East. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Bajaj Housing Finance’s affordable housing portfolio, reinforcing its focus on inclusive lending and sustainable growth in India’s housing finance ecosystem.
