In her new role at Mastercard, Sejal will focus on driving innovative product strategies, strengthening issuer and fintech partnerships, and expanding solution-led value propositions across the payments ecosystem. Her mandate is expected to center on building scalable, customer-centric offerings that align with evolving consumer behaviors and digital-first financial services adoption.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Sejal served at Federal Bank as Vice President – Product Head, Unsecured Assets (Credit Cards and Personal Loans), and Head – Unsecured Products, where she led portfolio growth, product strategy, and digital acquisition initiatives. She played a pivotal role in strengthening unsecured lending frameworks and driving profitability across credit card and personal loan segments.
Earlier, at IndusInd Bank, she led Co-Branded Credit Cards, managing strategic partnerships and portfolio expansion initiatives. At HSBC, she drove Digital & Fintech Partnerships and Marketing, accelerating alliance-led growth and enhancing digital distribution capabilities. Her leadership consistently blended product innovation with data-driven marketing and ecosystem collaboration.
Sejal’s earlier career includes key product and brand roles at HDFC Bank and Axis Bank, along with experience in advertising and brand strategy. This diverse exposure across banking, payments, fintech, and brand building provides her with a strong cross-functional perspective as she steps into her leadership role at Mastercard.
