T S Shyam Kumar has been appointed as Vice President – Logistics at Visaka Industries Limited, marking a significant milestone in his extensive career across supply chain and logistics leadership. In his current role, he is responsible for driving logistics strategy, optimizing supply chain operations, and strengthening distribution efficiency across the organization.
With over two decades of experience, Shyam Kumar brings deep expertise in warehouse management, freight optimization, inventory control, and large-scale logistics operations. His mandate includes enhancing operational efficiencies, implementing standardized processes, and leveraging automation to build a more agile and cost-effective supply chain ecosystem.
Prior to joining Visaka Industries Limited, he served as National Head – Warehouse, Logistics & Freight (SCM) at Roca India (RBPPL), where he managed end-to-end supply chain operations across 8 plants and 12 regional distribution centers. He played a key role in warehouse automation, inventory optimization, and implementation of standardized operating procedures across the network.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at HPL Electric & Power Ltd, Schneider Electric, Bombardier Transportation, and ABB, where he built strong capabilities in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics transformation across diverse industrial environments.
He began his professional journey with Usha International and Asian Paints, gaining foundational experience in commercial operations and supply chain processes. With a proven track record of driving efficiency and operational excellence, T S Shyam Kumar is well-positioned to strengthen logistics capabilities and support Visaka Industries Limited’s continued growth.
