David James Karambekar Appointed as Director – Marketing Communications at Tusker Kitchens

David James Karambekar has been appointed as Director – Marketing Communications at Tusker Kitchens, where he will lead brand strategy and category creation initiatives focused on redefining the Indian kitchen market. In this leadership role, he will drive integrated marketing, consumer education, positioning strategy, and behavioral transformation campaigns aimed at shifting consumer preference from traditional wooden kitchens to durable and hygienic steel kitchens. His appointment reflects Tusker Kitchens’ vision of building a new-age category centered around strength, hygiene, innovation, and long-term value.

Prior to joining Tusker Kitchens, David served as Head of Marketing Communications at Stanley Lifestyles, where he led luxury brand growth, digital transformation, omnichannel campaigns, CRM automation, performance marketing, and customer engagement initiatives across India. Earlier, as National Head – Marcom at Royaloak Incorporation Pvt. Ltd., he played a key role in scaling the brand from ₹400 crore to ₹1000 crore+, leading high-impact GTM campaigns, retail expansion, PR strategy, digital marketing, and large-scale customer acquisition initiatives across 200+ stores nationwide.

With nearly two decades of experience across strategic marketing, brand building, digital transformation, and category development, David brings a strong blend of storytelling, consumer insight, and performance-led marketing expertise. His appointment at Tusker Kitchens marks an important step in the company’s mission to build a new consumer movement and redefine the future of modular kitchens.
