Ashutosh Sekhri has been promoted to Head, PMO – BESS at Adani New Industries, marking another significant milestone in his professional journey across operations, aviation, strategy, and large-scale program management. With a career spanning more than 16 years across the defense and aviation ecosystem, Ashutosh brings deep expertise in operational excellence, strategic planning, and execution leadership aligned with strengthening India’s energy security and advancing next-generation energy infrastructure initiatives.
Before stepping into this leadership role, Ashutosh served as Program Manager at Adani Enterprises Limited, where he played a key role in driving strategic initiatives and managing critical business programs. His experience in handling complex operational frameworks and aligning cross-functional execution has contributed significantly to organizational growth and transformation initiatives within the Adani ecosystem, including initiatives linked to commissioning India’s largest BESS project.
Prior to joining Adani Enterprises Limited, Ashutosh worked as Senior Manager Operations Strategy at Blue Dart Aviation Limited, where he was involved in strengthening operational strategy and enhancing process efficiencies within the aviation and logistics domain. His ability to combine operational discipline with long-term strategic vision helped him build a strong reputation in high-performance environments guided by operational excellence principles and the Baldridge Business Excellence Framework.
Ashutosh also served in the Indian Air Force, an experience that laid the foundation for his leadership, operational precision, and strategic thinking capabilities. His tenure in the defense sector equipped him with strong execution skills, stakeholder management expertise, and the ability to lead in dynamic and mission-critical environments.
In his new role as Head, PMO – BESS at Adani New Industries, Ashutosh Sekhri is expected to contribute towards strengthening project management frameworks, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting the company’s growing focus on advanced energy and battery storage solutions.
