Syed Amir Najme has been elevated to Director – Data Science and AI at PwC India, marking another significant milestone in his distinguished journey across enterprise AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. In his expanded role, Amir will focus on scaling AI and Data Science solutions for enterprise clients while driving strategic innovation initiatives across Agentic AI, Generative AI, and enterprise transformation programs.
Over the years, Amir has built a strong reputation for conceptualizing and delivering impactful AI-led business solutions. Prior to this elevation, he served as Associate Director – Data Science and AI at PwC India, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s AI roadmap, leading high-performing Data Science and AI engineering teams, building reusable AI accelerators, and driving strategic engagements across GCCs, domestic enterprises, and global PwC partner firms. His work included executive stakeholder engagement, solution architecture, pre-sales leadership, and enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
Before joining PwC India, Amir held key AI and Data Science roles at organisations including Nagarro, Barclays, and dunnhumby, where he contributed to enterprise AI strategy, predictive analytics, AI/ML transformation, Conversational AI, Generative AI,
forecasting, recommendation systems, and customer analytics initiatives across global markets.
With more than 15 years of experience across AI, Data Science, and business transformation, Amir brings a unique combination of technical depth, strategic thinking, and business-focused innovation. His elevation reflects PwC India’s continued focus on strengthening leadership in enterprise AI innovation and scalable digital transformation initiatives.
