Devika Singhania has been elevated to CFO – India Business at Tide, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished finance leadership journey. The elevation comes shortly after the UK-based fintech company announced a ₹6,000 crore (£500 million) investment in India over the next five years to accelerate growth, expand operations, and strengthen its presence in one of its most strategic global markets. In her expanded role, Devika will lead the finance function for Tide’s India business, working closely with the board and senior leadership team to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
A seasoned finance leader with extensive experience spanning financial planning, strategy, corporate finance, investments, and mergers & acquisitions, Devika has built a distinguished career across fintech, banking, consulting, and media sectors. She has consistently demonstrated the ability to build high-performing finance functions, drive business transformation, optimize costs, and support sustainable growth through data-driven financial leadership.
Prior to joining Tide, Devika served as Vice President – Head of Finance & FP&A at Paytm, where she led financial planning and strategy across multiple high-growth businesses, including lending, credit cards, insurance, mutual funds, equities, UPI, and bill payments. During her tenure, she built and scaled the business finance function, partnered closely with business leaders to achieve growth objectives, and spearheaded major cost optimization initiatives that delivered significant organizational value.
Earlier in her career, she held strategic and leadership roles at HT Media, BMR Advisors, ICICI Bank, and Ernst & Young. These experiences provided her with deep expertise in corporate strategy, investment management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, financial advisory, and governance, enabling her to develop a well-rounded perspective on business and financial leadership.
