Rachana Yadav has joined Whirlpool of India Limited as Director – Legal, bringing with her more than a decade of experience across leading multinational corporations and premier law firms. With a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, regulatory affairs, litigation and dispute resolution, compliance, investigations, governance, and enterprise risk management, she has built a distinguished career advising organizations on complex legal and business-critical matters.
In her new role at Whirlpool of India Limited, Rachana will lead the company’s legal function, providing strategic legal counsel to business leadership, overseeing litigation and regulatory matters, strengthening compliance and governance frameworks, managing legal risk, and supporting business objectives through commercially sound legal solutions. Her appointment underscores Whirlpool India’s commitment to maintaining robust legal and compliance standards while supporting sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining Whirlpool India, Rachana served as Legal Counsel at Beam Suntory, where she played a key role in advising the business on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. During her tenure, she worked closely with business stakeholders to navigate evolving regulatory environments and support strategic initiatives in a highly regulated industry.
Earlier in her career, she was associated with AZB & Partners and PDS Legal, Advocates & Solicitors (Now known as Lumiere Law Partners) as a Senior Associate, gaining extensive experience in corporate legal advisory, transactional matters, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Her exposure to complex legal frameworks and diverse client engagements helped shape her expertise in delivering practical legal solutions aligned with business priorities.
Rachana’s appointment marks an important addition to Whirlpool India’s leadership team.
