Amod Jain has been appointed as Associate Director – Cluster Finance Head at Cipla, marking a significant milestone in his finance leadership journey. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving P&L strategy, optimizing costs, strengthening financial performance, and delivering sustainable business growth. His appointment reflects Cipla’s continued focus on building a strong finance leadership team to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.
With extensive experience across business finance, commercial finance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and strategic business partnering, Amod has built a distinguished career spanning the pharmaceutical and retail industries. He has consistently supported business transformation through data-driven financial insights, cost optimization, performance management, and financial governance.
Prior to joining Cipla, Amod spent nearly seven years at Piramal Pharma Ltd, where he progressed through leadership roles including Finance Head – PCC India, Chief Manager – Business Finance (Piramal Critical Care), Senior Manager – Business Finance
(Piramal Critical Care), and Manager – Corporate MIS. During his tenure, he played a key role in commercial finance, financial planning, business strategy, P&L management, and performance reporting. Earlier, he served as Financial Planning Analyst – Assistant Manager at Trent Hypermarket Pvt. Ltd. – Star Bazaar (A Tata & Tesco Enterprise), where he led budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, long-term strategic planning, Power BI reporting, and management presentations. Before that, he worked as Assistant Manager – Business Finance at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, managing financial planning, budgeting, P&L analysis, variance reporting, internal controls, and regional finance for the Latin America business.
With his diverse finance leadership experience and strong commercial acumen, Amod is well-positioned to strengthen Cipla’s financial strategy, drive operational excellence, and support the organization’s next phase of sustainable growth.
