Sumit brings over two decades of leadership in data at the intersection of business, technology, and industry, with a track record of turning strategy into execution at enterprise scale.
Prior to joining Accenture, Sumit led global delivery organizations at Coforge and Sopra Steria, overseeing multi-client, multi-geography Data & AI portfolios and driving large-scale digital transformation programs. Across these roles, he built and scaled Data & AI practices from the ground up, modernized enterprise data platforms, and established Centers of Excellence that turned strategic ambition into repeatable, enterprise-grade delivery.
Sharma is recognized as a thought leader on the convergence of AI and enterprise data foundations, advocating that AI-ready data architecture is not a technical afterthought but the scalable foundation on which agentic AI, automation, and enterprise-grade innovation depend. His perspective on emerging themes such as agentic AI and AI-native data architectures has informed how organizations sequence their AI investments.
