Ashwani Sharma has been appointed as Executive Vice President at Ace Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., bringing with him nearly two decades of experience across the non-life insurance sector. With a comprehensive understanding of the insurance value chain, he has built deep expertise spanning claims management, risk advisory, corporate insurance, business development, client retention, and strategic relationship management.
Before joining Ace Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., Ashwani spent over 15 years at Zoom Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., where he progressed through multiple leadership roles, including Manager – Claims (Non-EB), Senior Manager – Sales, Assistant Vice President, Vice President, Senior Vice President – Corporate Sales, and Executive Vice President. During this journey, he successfully led key functions across non-employee benefits claims, corporate sales, business development, and customer retention, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth and strengthening long-term client partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Ashwani began as a Loss Adjuster, managing large property and marine insurance claims, before moving to Godfrey Phillips India Ltd. as Deputy Manager (Insurance), where he served as a Risk Manager. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in claims assessment, risk management, underwriting coordination, and insurance operations, shaping his well-rounded perspective on the industry.
In his new role at Ace Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., Ashwani will focus on strengthening corporate insurance solutions, expanding strategic client relationships, driving business growth, and enhancing operational excellence.
