Sunstream Green Energy is pleased to announce the elevation of Dilip Kumar to Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he will lead operational strategy and execution across the company’s commercial and industrial renewable energy platform.
Dilip’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Sunstream, which today operates a portfolio of approximately 250 MW across 20 locations spanning Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Gujarat. As Director – Investment and Strategy, he helped shape Sunstream’s growth strategy and set the execution priorities that have guided the company’s expansion to date. As COO, he will now lead the operational execution needed to convert Sunstream’s pipeline into an operating 1 GW platform by 2028.
Dilip brings over two decades of renewable energy and industrial leadership experience, including senior roles at Rockwell Automation, SMA Solar India, and FLSmidth, alongside deep hands-on expertise in solar asset management, having overseen O&M for more than 2.0 GW of solar PV capacity. This combination of strategic and on-ground operating experience positions him to strengthen Sunstream’s execution capabilities as it scales toward its 1 GW ambition.
