Cloudphysician, an AI health startup specializing in comprehensive tech and operational solutions for hospitals’ ICU and emergency departments, has appointed Dr. Mandar Vaidya as CEO-India, effective June. Dr. Vaidya brings over twenty years of experience in global business leadership, including a significant tenure at McKinsey & Co. as a healthcare practice partner in Asia. His expertise in developing strategies for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies is poised to enhance Cloudphysician’s operational capabilities and foster growth throughout India.
Prior to joining Cloudphysician, Dr. Vaidya served at OYO for four years, overseeing multiple international markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Japan.
Cloudphysician recently concluded a successful Series A funding round, raising $10.5 million. Peak XV Partners led the investment round, with additional contributions from Elevar Equity and venture debt firm Panthera Peak. This funding is expected to bolster Cloudphysician’s expansion efforts and strengthen its position in the healthcare technology sector.
