FalconPoint Partners, a private equity firm specializing in North American middle market companies in the business services and industrials sectors, has announced the appointment of Vijay Maharaj as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.
Vijay Maharaj brings a wealth of experience to FalconPoint, having previously served as Controller for GreyLion Partners. In this role, he developed and expanded the firm’s finance and operations capabilities, ensuring robust financial management and rigorous risk management practices. Prior to GreyLion Partners, Maharaj held senior finance roles at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, and CCMP Capital Advisors, and spent nearly a decade in Deloitte’s Investment Management practice. He is a graduate of Manhattanville College, holds an MBA in Accounting from Rutgers Business School, and is both a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
