Bandesh Rao has been appointed Director – Strategy, M&A, and Transformation (SMAT) at IMCD Group, overseeing India and Bangladesh. Prior to IMCD, Bandesh held leadership roles at Godrej Industries – Chemicals Division, driving growth, market expansion, and operational excellence. A chemical engineer by education, Bandesh also holds an MBA, which complements his strong technical expertise with a robust understanding of business strategy and marketing. He has also completed INSEAD’s prestigious Leadership Programme for Senior Executives, further enhancing his leadership skills and ability to navigate complex business environments.
