Amish Dani has transitioned to the role of Chief Risk Officer at Vastu Housing Finance, having previously served as Head of New Initiatives in the organisation. In his new role, he will lead the company’s enterprise risk management framework, strengthen governance and compliance, and enable sustainable growth by embedding balanced risk-based decision-making as Vastu continues to expand its presence in India’s affordable housing finance sector.

Amish brings over 25 years of cross-functional experience spanning risk management, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and business operations. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in building risk frameworks, driving strategic transformation, executing complex transactions, and enabling sustainable business growth across diverse industries.
Prior to joining Vastu, Amish was a Director in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, where he led over 150 transactions across the banking and financial services (BFSI), consumer, and industrial sectors. He advised clients on financial and commercial due diligence, strategic advisory, valuation, financial modelling, enterprise risk assessments, and end-to-end transaction execution, supporting complex investment and business decisions.
Complementing his consulting experience, Amish also spent over a decade as an entrepreneur, building and scaling a pan-India consumer brand. This combination of advisory expertise and operating experience brings a well-rounded perspective to his leadership of Vastu’s risk function.
A Chartered Accountant, Amish also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).
