Arun R Hegde has been appointed Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Oncology at Intas Pharmaceuticals. With more than 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Arun brings a wealth of expertise in oncology, having led the launch of innovative cancer treatments such as Keytruda (Pembrolizumab), India’s first immuno-oncology drug, and biosimilar monoclonal antibodies like Hertraz (Trastuzumab) and Reditux (Rituximab).
Before his appointment at Intas, Arun held significant leadership roles at MSD Pharmaceuticals and Mylan, where he was instrumental in developing and executing strategies for the launch and management of oncology and biosimilar products. His strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and business development has been crucial in enhancing patient access to life-saving treatments across markets.
