Chetan Sawhney has been promoted to Director – Corporate Communications & PR at Nangia Andersen, a member firm of Andersen Global. With more than 15 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Branding, and Internal Communication, he has consistently driven impactful strategies that strengthened brand visibility and corporate reputation across industries.
Chetan’s journey with Nangia Andersen began in 2019 when he joined as Manager – PR & Brand Communication. His exceptional leadership and results-driven approach led to his promotion as Associate Director – Corporate Communications & PR in 2022, a role in which he spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives that significantly enhanced the firm’s positioning. Now, as Director, he continues to shape and elevate the company’s communications strategy, reinforcing its identity as a trusted consulting firm and global partner.
Before joining Nangia Andersen, Chetan gained valuable experience at Nangia & Co. LLP, where he served as Assistant Manager – PR & Brand Communication from 2014 to 2018. His earlier professional journey also included stints with leading PR agencies like Orion PR and Perspective PR, along with roles in operations and media, which helped him build a diverse and well-rounded communication portfolio.
Recognized as a leader in his field, Chetan was awarded the title of “Corporate Communication Leader of the Year” by the Transformance Forum in 2024 and featured in Agency Reporter’s 40 under 40 PR & Communications Awards, 2024. Notably, in 2013, he also served as the Public Relations Officer for the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy, adding to his distinguished career highlights.
Academically, Chetan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from IP University, an MBA in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University, and an Executive MBA from the University of San Francisco, US. His passion for travel and spirituality, particularly exploring temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, continues to enrich his professional outlook with balance and perspective.
