Nirav Kamdar has been elevated to Vice President – IPR & Portfolio Management at Invengene Private Limited, taking on expanded leadership responsibilities across intellectual property and portfolio strategy.
With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Nirav began his career in formulation development before moving into intellectual property. Over the years, he has built deep expertise across innovative research, patent strategies, litigation strategies, patent landscape analysis, strategic filings, and launch planning across global markets.
His role has also extended beyond intellectual property. Working closely with the Business Development team, Nirav has played an instrumental role in identifying future portfolio opportunities, evaluating molecules with a potential early launch strategy and supporting strategic product selection.
Prior to this elevation, Nirav served as Associate Vice President – IPR at Invengene Private Limited. He has spent more than two decades with the Inventia Group, progressing through leadership roles at Inventia Healthcare Private Limited before taking on leadership responsibilities at Invengene. This elevation recognises his longstanding contributions to the organisation’s innovation and product development journey.
The addition of Portfolio Management to his responsibilities is a natural progression, bringing together the breadth of expertise Nirav has developed across formulation development, intellectual property, and strategic product selection. In his new role, he will continue to lead the Intellectual Property function while also driving portfolio planning, business case evaluation, lifecycle management, and cross-functional portfolio strategy.
His expanded role will play an important part in shaping Invengene’s portfolio and supporting the organisation’s long-term growth objectives.
