Shrish A. has been appointed as Associate General Manager – IT Operations & Projects at GMR Airports Limited, bringing with him over 17 years of extensive experience in IT service delivery and airport domain expertise across India and Canada. His proven track record in managing critical airport IT systems and delivering transformative digital solutions makes him a valuable addition to GMR’s leadership team.
Prior to this appointment, Shrish held senior leadership roles at Wipro, where he worked with some of the world’s leading airports, including the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), Edmonton International Airport, and Montreal International Airport. He also played a pivotal role at Mumbai International Airport, where he spearheaded uninterrupted 24/7 IT operations at one of the busiest single-runway airports globally.
Throughout his career, Shrish has been recognized for his ability to align technology with business objectives, driving operational efficiency and innovation. His expertise spans IT service delivery, application management, ITIL processes, aviation systems (AODB, RMS, PPS, BPS), and project management under WPMP methodology. Known for his collaborative and result-oriented approach, he has consistently delivered projects that improved infrastructure reliability, enhanced passenger experience, and supported organizational growth. In his new role at GMR Airports Limited, Shrish will focus on strengthening IT operations and driving strategic projects that support the company’s vision of innovation and excellence in the aviation sector.
