Sourabh Chongdar has been appointed as Business Unit Head (P&L) – Compunnel Digital | Digital Engineering & IT Solutions at Compunnel Inc., marking a strategic leadership addition as the organization accelerates its digital engineering and transformation journey. Based in Greater Philadelphia, Sourabh will lead Compunnel’s Digital Group with end-to-end P&L responsibility, focused on scaling a modern, outcome-driven digital engineering and IT services business
A seasoned digital transformation leader, Sourabh brings deep expertise across Healthcare & Life Sciences, BFSI, Telecom, RetailTech, Manufacturing, EdTech, ISVs, and Telecom, with a strong track record of translating innovation into industrial-scale execution. In his new role, he is responsible for industrializing horizontal practices across AI, Cloud, Enterprise Automation, Digital Assurance, Product & Platform Engineering, and Consumer Experience—packaging them into repeatable offerings, accelerators, and execution playbooks that move seamlessly from pilot to production.
Prior to joining Compunnel, Sourabh served as Global Practice Head – Healthcare & Life Sciences at HARMAN International, where he ran the practice as a business operator and successfully repositioned it from bespoke delivery to productized, industry-led solutions. Under his leadership, the practice delivered nearly 45 percent year-on-year growth for two consecutive years, built scalable partner-led routes to market, and advanced responsible GenAI and agentic AI programs across regulatory and compliance use cases.
Earlier in his career, Sourabh held senior leadership roles at Cigniti Technologies, Cognizant, and Tata Consultancy Services, where he built and scaled digital engineering practices, Centers of Excellence, and large global delivery teams. He has led portfolios exceeding $180 million and managed organizations of 1500+ professionals, earning recognition for building high-performance teams and driving measurable business outcomes through AI/ML, IoT, cloud modernization, and intelligent automation.
