Vasanthan E has joined Bradken India Limited as Head – People Partnering, Asia, overseeing HR strategy and operations across India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. He is based in Coimbatore and brings over two decades of diverse experience in human resources, leadership development, and change management across some of India’s leading industrial and manufacturing firms.
Prior to joining Bradken, Vasanthan was the Head of Human Resources at Bradken India Limited and played a pivotal role in strategic HR transformation. He has also held multiple senior positions at Lakshmi Machine Works, where he led employee engagement, DEI, and performance systems. His earlier stints at Vedanta Resources, including roles at Malco Energy Limited, Sterlite Copper and Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, saw him drive key initiatives in HR automation, statutory compliance, and large-scale workforce engagement.
Vasanthan’s HR journey spans over 20 years, beginning with Vedanta Resources and extending through organizations such as Lakshmi Machine Works & Emerald Jewel Industry, where he was instrumental in building HR frameworks and leading business-critical transitions. His contributions have been widely recognized for introducing innovative HR practices, aligning people strategy with business needs, and enhancing productivity through structured talent development programs.
With a strong academic foundation in Chemistry and an MBA in Human Resources, Vasanthan brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and people-centric leadership. At Bradken, he is set to drive regional people strategy, strengthen cross-cultural collaboration, and foster a high-performance culture across Asia.
