PropelGo has appointed Vishal Garg as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to build a next-generation B2B fintech platform for enterprise payments and commercial credit. Founded by Arvind Singh and Sandeep Aggarwal, PropelGo was created to address long-standing challenges in commercial payments, fragmented financial processes, delayed settlements, and manual reconciliation. As CFO, Vishal will lead the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, governance, business finance, and scalable growth initiatives while supporting PropelGo’s vision of building world-class enterprise payment infrastructure.
A Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of leadership experience, Vishal brings extensive expertise across corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, financial transformation, business strategy, governance, automation, and investor engagement. Prior to joining PropelGo, he served as Fractional CFO for founder-led and growth-stage businesses, including PropelGo and Travel Metrics, advising on cash flow optimization, working capital management, EBITDA improvement, finance automation, board reporting, and M&A readiness. Earlier, he was Group CFO at Riya Travel & Tours India Pvt. Ltd., where he led finance for a USD 2.5 billion-plus global B2B travel enterprise across India, the US, the Middle East, the UK, and Southeast Asia, driving finance transformation, automation, liquidity management, cost restructuring, and strategic growth initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Vishal served as Chief Financial Officer at ATB Yatra, where he led financial and commercial due diligence, acquisition support, post-merger integration, IFRS-aligned reporting, governance, and organizational transformation. Before that, he spent over seven years at FCM Travel Solutions India, progressing from General Manager Finance to Chief Financial Officer, leading treasury, finance, governance, M&A transactions, profitability initiatives, and strategic financial planning. His professional journey also includes key leadership roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Mphasis, Indtravels Private Limited, Management Development Institute, A.T. Kearney, World Air Pvt. Ltd., and Garg Aggarwal & Co., where he built deep expertise across receivables management, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, taxation, corporate governance, audit, process transformation, and operational excellence.
