Akshay Nayak appointed as Director SAP Sales & Alliances for the Middle East at KPMG

Akshay Nayak has been appointed as Director SAP Sales & Alliances for the Middle East at KPMG, based in Dubai, where he leads SAP Sales & Alliances for the MESAC (Middle East, South Asia & Caspian) region. His appointment represents a strategic reinforcement of KPMG’s SAP leadership as the firm continues to deepen its enterprise transformation footprint across high-growth markets.

Since joining KPMG in March 2025, Akshay has already made a visible impact by significantly enhancing the market presence and positioning of KPMG’s SAP practice across the region. He has been instrumental in driving strategic alliances, strengthening hyperscaler and SAP ecosystem partnerships, and launching joint go-to-market initiatives that align tightly with client transformation agendas. His efforts have contributed to sharper market visibility, stronger pipeline momentum, and elevated brand credibility in the MESAC region.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Akshay brings a rare blend of enterprise sales leadership, ecosystem orchestration, and transformation advisory expertise. A defining highlight of his career has been a stellar decade-long tenure at SAP, where he consistently delivered record-breaking deal closures, built long-standing CXO relationships, and led complex, multi-country transformation engagements across public sector, energy, utilities, retail, and CPG industries.

Prior to KPMG, Akshay held senior leadership roles at SAP, PwC India & IBM, where he was known for driving sustained revenue growth, opening new strategic accounts, and positioning enterprise platforms as business enablers rather than IT implementations. His ability to bridge technology, business outcomes, and stakeholder alignment has been a key differentiator across his leadership journey.

Akshay’s appointment is widely seen as a strong addition to KPMG’s leadership bench, reinforcing the firm’s ambition to lead SAP-driven growth and large-scale transformation programs across the Middle East and adjacent markets. With his deep ecosystem knowledge, commercial acumen, and regional perspective, he is well-positioned to accelerate KPMG’s SAP strategy and deliver long-term value for clients navigating complex digital transformation agendas.
