Amita Patni has been appointed as Vice President, Global Procurement Head at Shalina Healthcare, bringing with her significant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement leadership, and supply chain management across the pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors. With more than 15 years of professional experience, she has worked extensively on global and Indian projects involving APIs, excipients, packaging materials, bulk chemicals, technicals, and formulations.
Before joining Shalina Healthcare, Amita was serving as Category Lead – Global Procurement (Direct Spend) at Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd., where she managed strategic procurement initiatives and category leadership responsibilities. She also held the position of Vice President Procurement at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., adding extensive expertise in procurement strategy and supplier management to her professional portfolio.
Her career journey further includes leadership roles at major organizations such as Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she worked as Associate Director – Direct Materials, and UPL as Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing. Amita was also associated with GSK in a Global Procurement Manager role, gaining valuable international exposure in sourcing and commercial operations.
With deep expertise in direct procurement, sourcing strategy, commercial operations, and supply chain optimization, Amita’s appointment is expected to strengthen Shalina Healthcare’s commercial capabilities. Her experience across pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and specialty chemicals positions her well to contribute to the company’s continued operational and business growth.
