Cashpey has appointed Angad Sahota as Chief Business Officer, a move set to further strengthen the organization’s leadership in retail lending. He brings over 12 years of experience in consulting and analytics across the Banking, Shipping, and CPG industries, with cross-industry expertise in data science and advisory roles.
A seasoned professional with a proven track record in consulting, data science, and analytics, Angad holds two master’s degrees: an MA in Financial Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, and an MSc in Data Science for Decision Making from the Barcelona School of Economics.
Prior to joining Cashpey, Angad led Solution Consulting for the Fintech division at TransUnion CIBIL Ltd. He also spearheaded Bureau Engagement at HDFC Bank, where he developed strong expertise in multi-bureau data analysis and modeling, pre-screen campaigns, and fraud and collections across multiple asset classes, including personal loans and auto loans—contributing to a well-rounded leadership profile in the financial services sector.
Earlier in his career, Angad was part of the Strategic Initiatives team at the Maersk Group and also worked at the prestigious Fractal Analytics Ltd.
