Anand Soni has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Manipal Energy & Infratech Limited, a company of The Manipal Group, marking a significant milestone in a leadership career spanning over two decades across the engineering, power, infrastructure, and EPC sectors. In his new role, he will provide strategic direction for the integrated EPC business, with end-to-end responsibility for enterprise strategy, business growth, P&L performance, operational excellence, corporate governance, and long-term stakeholder value creation across electrical, civil infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial, and allied projects.
Prior to joining Manipal Energy & Infratech Limited, Anand served as Vice President – Operations at Polycab India Limited, where he led operational excellence and business transformation initiatives. Before that, he spent more than 11 years at Vijai Electricals Limited as Vice President, driving strategic growth, large-scale project execution, and operational leadership across the power infrastructure business. His extensive experience also includes senior leadership roles as General Manager at Gayatri Projects Limited and Chief Executive Officer at Marsons Limited, where he strengthened business performance, execution capabilities, and organisational growth.
Earlier in his career, Anand held key leadership positions with Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, ABB Ltd. (India), and Alstom Ltd., building deep expertise in EPC project management, commercial strategy, business development, contracts and risk management, and infrastructure delivery. Over the years, he has established a strong reputation for leading complex projects, driving digital transformation, improving capital efficiency, and developing high-performing teams while creating sustainable value for customers and stakeholders.
