Dhanlaxmi Bank, a private sector bank based in Kerala, has announced the appointment of Ajith Kumar KK as its Managing Director (MD). According to a regulatory filing by the bank on Tuesday, Ajith Kumar KK will assume office on June 20.
The decision was made during a board meeting held on Tuesday, where it was decided to appoint Ajith Kumar KK as the Managing Director & CEO for a term of three years starting from June 20, 2024. The appointment is subject to approval from the shareholders within the stipulated timeframe as per the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI regulations. The remuneration for the role has been approved by the RBI in a letter dated April 18.
Ajith Kumar KK brings with him a wealth of experience in banking, spanning over 36 years with the Federal Bank. He has held various key positions in areas such as Credit, Human Resources, Business Development, and Branch Banking. Currently, he serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Federal Bank, holding the rank of president.
