With over 28 years of experience in the paper and textile industries, Dr. Prakash brings a proven track record of driving revenue growth, financial turnarounds, and operational excellence.
Before joining Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT), Dr. Prakash served as the Chief Executive Officer at Shah Paper Mills Limited, where he played a pivotal role in manufacturing high-quality eco-friendly paper for domestic and international markets. He previously held leadership positions as the Chief Sales Officer at Century Pulp & Paper (B.K. Birla Group), and as a senior executive at International Paper – APPM, where he successfully led multiple business functions, driving sales growth, marketing efficiency, and cost control.
Dr. Prakash has also contributed to product development, outsourcing strategies, and market expansion in leadership roles at Shreyans Industries Ltd., Trident Group, and Camerich Papers Pvt Ltd. His expertise spans strategy & business development, global account management, sales productivity improvement, and client relationship management.
Dr. Prakash holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. His extensive experience and leadership in the industry position him as a valuable addition to Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT) as it continues to strengthen its market presence and operational efficiency.
