Rushabh Gandhi has assumed the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Limited (IndiaFirst Life) as of July 1, 2024. Prior to this, Rushabh served as the Deputy CEO of the company.
Debadatta Chand, Chairperson of IndiaFirst Life and Managing Director & CEO of Bank of Baroda, congratulated Rushabh on his new position.
Rushabh Gandhi expressed his honor at stepping into the role of MD & CEO, highlighting his long-standing association with the organization since 2015. He emphasized IndiaFirst Life’s commitment to serving customers nationwide through a multi-distribution channel strategy, including Bancassurance, backed by advanced technology and a #CustomerFirst philosophy. He expressed confidence in achieving the company’s vision of becoming the preferred insurer for every Indian with the support of shareholders, distributors, employees, customers, and the regulator.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the BFSI sector, Rushabh has a strong track record in driving growth, innovation, and digital transformation in both domestic and international markets. He succeeds Vishakha R.M., who significantly contributed to the company’s success over the past nine years and retired on June 30, 2024.
