Ajit Thakur has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Creative Newtech Limited, an NSE/BSE listed company with a revenue scale of ₹3000 Cr. A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of diverse leadership experience, he brings strong expertise across Finance, Accounts, Strategic Planning, Fund Raising, Treasury, Taxation, Risk Management, IPO readiness, governance, investor relations, and business transformation across industries including Agriculture, Electric Vehicles, Steel & Mining, Polymer, Manufacturing, and Gems & Jewellery. In his new role, he will focus on driving financial growth, operational excellence, value creation, and strategic expansion for the organization.
Prior to joining Creative Newtech Limited, he served as Head of Finance at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited and earlier held the same role at Mahyco Group-SSFPL. He also worked with The Safal Group as Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance, Gitanjali Gems Ltd as Corporate Manager – Finance, and Time Technoplast Ltd as Assistant Manager – Accounts, building deep expertise across financial controllership, governance, compliance, treasury, working capital management, IPO preparation, SEBI compliance,
ERP implementation, AI-driven finance automation, international joint ventures, and large-scale fund raising initiatives. Alongside his corporate leadership journey, he has also been an active seed investor with Altor Smart Mobility, TagZ Foods, and Neuphony™.
Ajit has successfully led strategic finance transformation initiatives including greenfield projects, export compliance, forex risk management, digital transformation, and multi-location business operations. His experience spans fund raising through working capital, term loans, ECB, PE funding, and non-fund-based facilities, while also driving investor communication and strategic business planning at scale.
He holds a B.Com degree, is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI, completed the Executive Program in Strategy in International Business from IIFT, and the PGPCFO (Emerging CFO Program) from IIM Indore. His appointment at Creative Newtech Limited marks another significant milestone in his accomplished finance leadership journey.
