Alok Industries has announced the appointment of Anil Kumar Mungad as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from July 1, 2024.
Anil Kumar Mungad brings a wealth of expertise to the role, being a Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), and holding degrees in Science and Law. With 30 years of experience in finance and accounts, he was recognized among the top 10 CFOs in Malaysia by CEO Insight Asia magazine in 2022.
Before joining Alok Industries, Mungad served as the CFO of Recron (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President – Commercial (Polymer Chain) at Reliance Group’s Mumbai office, with his tenure at Reliance Group starting in 2002.
Alok Industries is a comprehensive textile manufacturer operating in both the cotton and polyester value chains. The company is engaged in textile manufacturing, including mending and packing activities, and serves global retailers, brands, reputable garment manufacturers, and traders.
