Surya Narayan Patro has been elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Toyota Financial Services India, effective 1st January 2025. Based in Bengaluru, he will spearhead the company’s financial strategy, reporting, compliance, fund raising, and fiscal governance as part of its executive leadership team.
With a stellar career spanning over two decades, Surya brings deep expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, financial planning and analysis, taxation, fund raising, and automation of finance operations. He joined Toyota Financial Services India in July 2023 as Function Head – Finance and Accounts, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and aligning financial systems with strategic objectives.
Prior to this, Surya held key crucial roles at Fincare Small Finance Bank, North East Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ING Vysya Bank, and Shriram Investments. Known for his sharp financial acumen and transformational leadership, he has been instrumental in banking transformations, core system implementations, and setting up robust financial frameworks across institutions.
