Polycab India has recently appointed Ashish Kakkar as its Executive President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Kakkar brings nearly three decades of experience in human resource management to his new role, having previously served as CHRO at ICICI Home Finance for over six years. His career also includes positions at ICICI Bank, 3i Infotech, ICICI Prudential AMC, and PepsiCo India Holdings.
Kakkar’s expertise spans various areas including management, organizational transformations, talent management, leadership development, and operational excellence. His strategic vision and leadership skills are expected to drive significant growth and development within Polycab India.
Kakkar holds a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Human Resource Development from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, a Master of Labour Laws and Labour Welfare from Symbiosis Law College, Pune University, and a BSc from Naval Academy, Goa University.
In his new role, Kakkar will leverage his extensive experience in business partnering, change management, and leadership development to help Polycab India achieve its strategic goals and maximize the potential of its workforce.
