Irfan Shaikh has been appointed as Director (Vice President) at PL Wealth Pvt Ltd Division for Pune, effective immediately. In his new role, he will be based out of WeWork, Magarpatta, Pune (411013), strengthening the firm’s on-ground leadership presence in one of its key markets.
At PL Wealth Pvt Ltd Division, Irfan Shaikh will be responsible for driving business growth and relationship management initiatives across the Pune region. His mandate spans a wide range of financial offerings, including broking and distribution, institutional equities, investment banking, wealth management, asset management, market-linked debentures (MLDs), securities finance, IPO listing, and unlisted shares, aligning closely with the firm’s diversified wealth and capital markets strategy.
Irfan Shaikh brings with him significant experience across leading banking and financial institutions. Prior to joining PL Wealth Pvt Ltd Division, he served as Assistant Vice President at HDFC Bank, where he was involved in managing client relationships and business development initiatives within the banking ecosystem.
His professional journey also includes leadership roles as Branch Head at Bandhan Bank and Branch Manager at ICICI Bank, where he gained strong exposure to branch operations, customer acquisition, portfolio management, and team leadership. These roles have contributed to his deep understanding of retail and corporate financial services.
With this appointment, PL Wealth Pvt Ltd Division aims to further strengthen its presence in Pune by leveraging Irfan Shaikh’s multi-institutional experience and comprehensive product expertise, supporting the firm’s continued expansion in wealth management and capital markets services.
