Pratik Puri has been appointed as Board Member & Head of Grassroots at Kabuni India Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic move to scale a technology-enabled, inclusive cricket development ecosystem across the country.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in grassroots development, infrastructure creation, and talent pathway design, Pratik brings a rare execution-first mindset to Kabuni’s ambitious vision. His mandate is clear: integrate on-ground cricket development programs with Kabuni’s AI-led coaching solutions to democratize access to high-quality training—irrespective of geography or background.
Kabuni is positioning itself at the intersection of sport and technology, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver real-time performance insights, structured coaching pathways, and data-driven player development. And this is exactly where Pratik’s experience becomes a force multiplier.
Before this, Pratik led the academies and grassroots vertical at Delhi Capitals, where he drove what many consider the most successful phase in the program’s history. From scaling operations to international expansion and building structured talent identification frameworks, his work set new benchmarks in franchise-led grassroots ecosystems.
His journey spans impactful roles across organizations like Government of Haryana, CricKingdom, Aarka Sports Management Pvt. Ltd., BunkerHill Sports, Knight Riders Sports, and Gallant Sports India. Notably, as Chief Sports Consultant to the Government of Haryana, he contributed to shaping policy frameworks, building infrastructure, and strengthening athlete development systems at scale.
Beyond strategy, his execution footprint is tangible—developing 50+ sports facilities across institutions and contributing to international collaborations like India–Sweden partnerships. His work has consistently emphasized inclusivity, especially promoting opportunities for girls and advocating the “Right to Sports.”
