His journey began with sheer determination. In the early 2000s, Karthikeyan balanced evening part-time shifts in Bengaluru while attending job interviews during the day. Breaking into the IT industry was not easy — but persistence paid off. He launched his corporate career at Infosys, and went on to take up significant roles at Dell International and Science Applications International Corporation.
For nearly a decade until 2010, he was deeply embedded in core technology and delivery functions — not recruitment. Yet, as part of high-growth teams, he actively supported internal hiring efforts, helping scale engineering organizations while driving global delivery mandates, operational efficiency, and execution excellence. Those years gave him something invaluable: a firsthand understanding of what strong engineering teams truly require.
In 2010, he chose the uncertain road of entrepreneurship. Instead of focusing on generic hiring, he positioned himself as a growth partner to emerging telecom and deeptech innovators. During the formative years of Mavenir Systems and Altiostar Networks, Karthikeyan supported their recruitment and talent scaling efforts while leadership teams concentrated on networking innovation. As these companies expanded across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G ecosystems, he helped build their engineering backbone during critical hypergrowth phases.
However, his journey was not limited to telecom alone. Following these early successes, he went on to support several Tier-1 global technology and consulting organizations including NTT Data, Atos, Logica, Subex, Incedo, Virtusa, Mphasis, Larsen & Toubro, and Microland, among others. Across these engagements, he supported cutting-edge technology domains spanning digital transformation, cloud computing, data engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, enterprise modernization, network virtualization, and next-generation platform engineering — far beyond traditional telecom boundaries.
But beyond business, his philosophy stands out. Karthikeyan has consistently created pathways for fresh graduates from Tier-2 cities — giving them access to opportunities in IT services, digital engineering, and deeptech ecosystems that might otherwise have remained out of reach.
