Niladri Banik joins as Assistant Vice President and Head – National Logistics and Supply Chain at Indian Broiler Group

Niladri Banik has joined Indian Broiler Group as Assistant Vice President (AVP), Head – National Logistics and Supply Chain, bringing with him years of extensive experience across logistics, warehousing, supply chain operations across plant based, FC/RDC and last mile operations and digital transformation. Commenting on the philosophy that underpins his professional journey, Niladri strongly believes that “Upskilling is survival,” a message that aligns closely with Indian Broiler Group’s focus on operational excellence, scalability, and future-ready supply chain capabilities.

In his new role at Indian Broiler Group, Niladri will be responsible for leading national logistics and supply chain strategy, optimizing end-to-end warehousing and distribution networks, driving cost efficiencies, and strengthening technology-led delivery models across the organization. His mandate includes building robust, scalable supply chain frameworks that support business growth while maintaining high standards of efficiency, compliance, and service quality.

Prior to this appointment, Niladri served as Head – National Logistics and SCM at Jindal (India) Limited, where he led large-scale, pan-India logistics operations. His responsibilities included managing plants, regional hubs and 3PL-driven distribution centers, developing SOPs for ecommerce and market aggregator platforms, deploying API-integrated delivery management systems, reducing DC shrinkages, and ensuring P&L accountability through CAPEX and OPEX optimization. He also played a pivotal role in integrating technology across B2B and B2C supply chain models.

Earlier, Niladri held senior supply chain leadership roles at Shyam Steel Industries Limited and More Retail Private Limited, where he managed fulfillment centers and distribution operations across multiple retail and ecommerce verticals, including groceries, FMCG, apparel, general merchandise, and cold chain. His experience spans managing 24×7 operations, omni-channel distribution, hyperlocal deliveries, and cost-effective fulfillment strategies across large geographic regions.

Niladri’s career foundation includes impactful tenures at Reliance Jio Infocomm, Häfele India Private Limited, VIP Industries Limited, and DHL Supply Chain, where he built deep expertise in warehouse optimization, fleet and logistics management, digital transformation, vendor negotiations, and crisis operations, including exceptional leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. With his hands-on approach and strong belief in continuous learning, Niladri Banik is well-positioned to strengthen Indian Broiler Group’s national supply chain capabilities and support its long-term growth ambitions
